Pick up in the hotel. Then, you will will be transferred to discover Coptic and Islamic Cairo. You will start visiting the Coptic Christian Churches in Old Cairo District. Visit to the amazing Hanging Church of the Virgin Mary, which was built over two towers of an ancient Roman fortress in the 4th century. It renovated several times later. Continue to visit the Church of St. Sergius (known as Abu Serga Church). It built on top of the Grotto of the Holy Family. In addition, you will visit the Church of Saint Barbara from the 8th century. A beautiful church that was built in the 5th century. It was consecrated to the martyr Barbara.
Lunch at a local restaurant (Beverages are extra). Later, you will be driven to visit the Saladin Citadel. During the Ayubid and Mameluke Periods, it played a significant role in the political life. It was the Rule Center for more than 700 years. In the Ayubid Dynasty, Salah Al-Din built it with several gates to fortify Cairo against crusaders. Later, you will visit the open-air museum of El-Moez St. It is one of the oldest streets in Cairo which is named after El-Moez li-Din Allah, the fourth caliph of the Fatimid dynasty. It includes a large number of Islamic Monuments and Mosques like Mosque of Al-Hakim Bi Amr Allah. It is on the south of Bab Al-Futuh (the northern gate). The Fatimid vizier Gawhar Al-Siqilli built Mosque of Al-Hakim Bi Amr Allah. Moreover, There is the Mosque of Al Aqmar. It is famous for its design that is decorated with floral inscriptions and geometric carving. The Fatimid Caliph Al-Amir Bi-Ahkam Allah built it. Return back to your hotel in Cairo.
