In the morning, our official tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo. Then, you will be driven by a modern vehicle to the Egyptian Museum. It is located in the Tahrir Square. The Egyptian Museum is one of the most beautiful museums in Cairo which has more than 120,000 items of antiquities dated back to the great Ancient Egyptian Times. The Egyptian museum of Cairo houses the most precious artifacts and treasures of the different times of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
Lunch at a local restaurant (Beverages are extra). Later, you will transfer to Saladin Citadel. It was built in 1178. During the Ayubid Mameluke and Ottomans Periods, the citadel played a significant role in the political life. The citadel is famous for the Mosque of Mohammad Ali. It has magnificent design and decoration. The mosque is also known by the name of Alabaster Mosque because the alabaster covered its walls till 11 m. of height. In addition, several ancient buildings show the architecture of Ottoman influence. Return back to your hotel in Cairo.
