Descubra y sorpréndase con los tesoros del rey Tutankamón que se encuentran en el piso superior del museo. Almuerzo será proporcionado en un restaurante local (las bebidas son extra). Más tarde, disfrute de su visita a las Great Pyramids of Giza: Khufu, Khafra, and Menkaure, lo único que queda de las Siete Maravillas del Mundo Antiguo de la cuarta dinastía en el Reino Antiguo. Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Cairo Airport for domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, our representative will help you in the formalities of embarkation. You will start you sightseeing by visiting the Valley of the Kings on the western bank of the Nile; it is the necropolis of great kings of Thebes of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. You can visit three royal tombs (except for the Tomb of Tutankhamen that requires an extra ticket; with limited numbers in the day, consult us about it). Then, you will reach to the Two Colossi of Memnon which belong to the Pharaoh Amenhotep III from the 18th dynasty. Each colossal measures 19.5 m in height and carved from single block of quartzite stone. After that, visit El Deir El Bahari Temple of Queen Hatshepsut that was built of limestone with great design and fine decorations. Then, at the sunset, you will visit the illuminated Templo de Karnak, the huge ancient buildings, and sanctuaries of Thebes that dedicated to the Theban Triad Amon, Mut and Khonsu. It was built by several kings like Senusret I, Amenhotep III, Ramesses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and Tuthmosis III and others during several times. The complex includes several pylons, courtyards, columns, obelisks, sanctuaries, and the sacred lake. At the sunset, you will visit the illuminated templo de luxor, a very impressive ancient temple built by Amenhotep III (around 1420 BC) and enlarged by Ramses II (around 1240 BC). Return to hotel. Opcional: Full day Tour Sakkara (8 hours). You will be driven to Sakkara which is 35 km far from Cairo. You will start your tour by visiting the Open Air Museum in Memphis Area. Memphis was the ancient capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. In the Open-Air Museum of Memphis, you can find a limestone colossus of King Ramses II y the Alabaster Sphinx in addition to many antiquities, sarcophagus, statues of deities and architecture elements from ancient times. After that, you will transfer to the Plateau of Sakkara, 7 km from Memphis. Visit the famous Complejo del rey Zoser, there you will find the Step Pyramid from the 3rd dynasty. It is considered the first pyramid to appear in ancient time and built out of limestone. The Pyramid in Sakkara is 60 m. high and consists of 6 large steps. Then after, you will visit two Mastabas of the nobles from the Period of Sakkara, known for its beautiful decorations and scenes such as Mastaba of Idut and Mastaba of Petah-hotep. You will have a good opportunity to visit the interior of the Pyramid of king Unas. Then, you will be driven to visit the Museum of Imhotep in Sakkara. Almuerzo will be at a local restaurant. Return back to the hotel.
