Pick up from your hotel in Cairo. You will be transferred to visit Saladin Citadel. During the Ayubid, Mameluke and Ottoman Periods, the citadel played a significant role in the political life. It was built by Salah Al-Din in the Ayubid dynasty to fortify Cairo against crusaders with several gates. The citadel of Saladin is famous for the Mosque of Muhammad Ali that has magnificent design and decoration. Besides, there are several buildings that show the architecture of Ottoman influence. Lunch at a local restaurant (Beverages are extra).
Later, you will explore the open-air museum of El-Moez St. It is one of the oldest streets in Cairo. El-Moez St named after El-Moez li-Din Allah of the Fatimid dynasty. Firstly, you will visit the Complex of Sultan Qalawun from the Mameluke Period. The Complex of Sultan Al-Mansur Qalawun includes a Mausoleum, Madrasa and Hospital. Afterwards, you will visit the Mosque of Al-Hakim Bi Amr Allah that situated on the south of Bab Al-Futuh (the northern gate). The Fatimid vizier Gawhar Al-Siqilli built it. Mosque of Al Aqmar is famous for its design. The floriated inscriptions and geometric carving decorate the mosque. The Fatimid Caliph Al-Amir bi-Ahkami l-Lah built it.
