There are no government’s travel advisories in Egypt. No need to worry as the Egyptian government is doing its utmost to secure and protect tourist cities as Cairo, Giza, Luxor and Aswan, and the Red Sea resorts such as Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Marsa Alam.

It depends on your travel and weather Preferences. Although cloudy days may occur between December and May, you will find it rare to see rainfalls. It makes a river cruise and sightseeing around ancient monuments a good choice during this period.

You may enjoy plenty of sunshine during summer months, the sea breezes make the heat more bearable. From June to November, you can also avoid crowds at most tourist attractions.

We strongly advise you to carefully review the regulations around taking your medication to your destination country. We also recommend you to pack an adequate supply of any medication that you may need during your vacation. To avoid any issue at airport customs, keep copies of your medical prescription accompanied by any relevant documentations from your health provider or doctor in an easily accessible travel Luggage.
